Senior Environmental Scientist / Hydrogeologist
Thomas has as degree as Diplom-Geooekologe, which is the German equivalent to a Master of Science Degree in Environmental Science and qualifications in site exploration and assessment with respect to hydrogeology as well as soil and groundwater contamination. He has obtained his work experience in Germany, France, Spain, Belgium and the Czech Republic where he has been undertaking hydrogeological investigations for overburden dumps and contaminated industrial sites since 1997. He has a sound knowledge of the standard methods for numerical modelling.
Thomas joined AGE in 2006 and since then, he has been involved in mining and quarrying impact assessments and numerical modelling using MODFLOW. His particular interests include numerical flow and transport modelling using FEFLOW.
