• initial field investigations including installation of monitoring bores, pump-out tests, geological mapping;
• development of a conceptual groundwater model;
• numerical modelling of groundwater flow for impact assessment and engineering design;
• predictive modelling of mitigation or containment strategies;
• developing of on-going monitoring plans, and
• monitoring during and post construction.
